Personal Protective Equipment:

You will learn the proper way to use and operate equipment, follow proper protocol to avoid harmful situations such as cross-contamination, and keep hazardous issues from harming the employee.

Safety Committee:

A group of individuals will meet on a monthly basis to discuss safety concerns and hazardous issues that they have been made aware of. There will be documentation on any current issues and a solution to the issue. This is a must so there are no severe repercussions in the event that an employee was injured as a result of the solution having not been followed through. This Committee is the window to the company for OSHA.

Emergency Action Plan:

You will learn how to create a safe and effective plan of evacuation. Part of this plan is telling your employees where to go in the case of a fire, tornado, hurricane, or any chemical spills. All employees must be accounted for.
